Taqueria Jalisco owners are planning to open a restaurant and tequila bar on the Southside.

“We want this new concept to be an experience—something you leave remembering, not only the food but the whole atmosphere,” co-owner Jorge Parra said via text message.

Jorge and his mother, Maria Parra, recently broke ground on the new restaurant, which will be called Ania.

The restaurant, located at 1639 Rossville Ave., will offer street-style food.

Taqueria Jalisco started small with a food truck, then expanded into a Southside storefront. In 2014, owners added the second location in Miller Plaza.
