A Jersey Mike’s Subs is opening in Ooltewah, and franchisees are having a fundraiser to support an area school.

Franchise owners Andrew Brooks and Ryan Hendrix, as well as others, are circulating 7,500 coupons that offer a free regular sub for a minimum $3 contribution to Ooltewah Middle School.

Customers must have a coupon to be eligible.

The coupons can be used from the business’ opening day—Feb. 14—through Feb. 18.

The fast-casual restaurant’s hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations throughout the country have raised more than $28 million for local charities and distributed more than 2 million free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes, according to a news release.

Last year, the company’s seventh annual Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving in March raised more than $5.5 million for nearly 150 charities throughout the country.
