In celebration of Brain Awareness Week held March 12 through March 18, we’re encouraging students and adults to challenge their brain with a host of activities designed to be fun and engaging.  Our center is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.

According to the Dana Foundation, every March, Brain Awareness Week unites the efforts of partner organizations worldwide to celebrate the brain for people of all ages. Activities are limited only by the organizers’ imaginations and include open days at neuroscience labs; exhibitions about the brain; lectures on brain-related topics; social media campaigns; displays at libraries and community centers; classroom workshops; and more.

If you stop by LearningRx Chattanooga’s Hamilton Place Center during Brain Awareness Week, here’s what you can expect:

Monday, March 12: Food for Thought!
There will be a trail mix station for participants to mix their favorites for a healthy brain snack! Participants can also take a picture in the Einstein Photo Booth!
