Crabtree Farms has announced the dates for its annual spring plant sale and festival.

It is a family-oriented three-day weekend that consists of gardening, craft, wellness and food vendors.

There will also be musicians and children’s nature activities.


The event will take place from April 6 through April 8.

There will be more 50 different tomatoes available, along with specialty plants for themed vegetable gardens, such as tea, pollinator, herb and Asian.

“More than 300 varieties of sustainably grown vegetable, fruit, herb, and flower seedlings make this event unique,” spokeswoman Avery Patten said in a prepared statement. “Crabtree’s greenhouse and farm teams test each of these varieties to ensure local suitability.”

The events will begin at 9 a.m. and run till 3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Sunday’s the event is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Crabtree Farms is located at 1000 E. 30th St.
