A Chattanooga company is seeking feedback about why people leave the tech field.

Software product development and venture firm Very is looking to survey people who used to work in the tech industry but don’t anymore.

“Once we gather responses, our data science team will analyze the language in the responses to identify trends,” Director of Marketing Emily Maxie said via email. “Our primary goal is to learn how to make our company—and the industry at large—a better long-term home for employees.”

Ideal respondents are those who formerly worked in tech, either at a tech company or in a technical role, but now work in another field.

The answers will be used anonymously and in aggregate in an effort to discover trends.
