The Chattanooga Market will host the 14th annual Ice Cream Social to benefit the Chambliss Center for Children on June 10.

This event gives Market goers the chance to sample and vote on their favorite local ice cream.

For $6 participants can sample two flavors from each of five local creameries—Bruster’s, Clumpie’s, Mayfield, Milk & Honey, and The Ice Cream Show, and then vote for their favorite flavors in two categories, Best Pure Flavor and Best Flavor with Inclusions.

Tickets will go on sale at 11 a.m. when the market opens and will continue until all 1,200 tickets are sold.

Trophies will be awarded before the market closing at 4 p.m.

“We are so excited for another great event at the Chattanooga Market,” Vice President of Chambliss Center for Children Katie Harbison said in a prepared statement. “Because of the generosity of the creameries, we always have a fun and successful day. We’ve made some adjustments to speed up the process for ice cream tasters, so hopefully, there will be shorter lines this year.”

The annual Ice Cream Social is a way for families to give to the Chambliss Center for Children, a local non-profit serving children and families in this community.
