Nightfall: Hive Theory (Road to Nightfall winners)
Road to Nightfall 2018 winners Hive Theory will headline the return of the Nightfall Concert Series. The series was on hiatus for two weeks during the Riverbend Festival. The finals were on March 24 at The Signal. SunSap, a runner-up in the contest, will open the show at 7 p.m. As always, Nightfall is completely free to attend.

Chattanooga Readers and Writers Fair
Book lovers, writers and readers are invited to the annual Chattanooga Readers and Writers Fair. A variety of events are scheduled throughout the day from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Events will be held in the main floor auditorium, 2nd-floor children’s activities, 4th-floor vendor booths with readings and more. An open-mic will be in the library plaza from 12 to 1 p.m. Food trucks and vendor carts will be on-site. Chattanooga Lookouts return
The Chattanooga Lookouts are back at AT&T Field this weekend for daily games through Tuesday of next week. Friday night is “Agriculture Night” followed by a fireworks display postgame. Saturday night is “Superhero Night” with Chattanooga’s Chattooine cosplay group. Expect all your favorite superheroes to be in attendance. Sunday’s matinee is at 2:15 p.m. and includes a food drive to benefit the Greater Chattanooga Area Food Bank. Bring a canned good donation to the game. Tickets are available to all games. Improv vs. Stand-up: PROMedy
This is a two-part show featuring stand-up comics and improvisers followed by a throwback prom event for adults. The event gives adults who were too “socially awkward” as teenagers a chance to relive (or just live) out their junior and senior proms. Improvisers will create scenes based on stand-up sets and a ’90s dance part will follow the show. Atlanta comic Aaron Chasteen will headline the event. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Chattanooga Girls Rock and First Chairs Club, two charities bringing music and music education to Chattanooga.

Hutton & Smith third anniversary party
The story of Hutton & Smith brewing is one of rapid success. The brewery will host a huge party and celebration at their new distribution facility on Riverside Drive. Guests can expect food trucks, live-sized beer pong, disc-golf, putting ranges and cornhole. The Larry Keel Experience will headline an afternoon of music. Admission is $15 and each guest will receive a commemorative cup and a beer on the house. Eight new draft releases are expected soon. More information is here.
