A benefit festival returns to Chickamauga this weekend for the second year.

The Jayhawk Music and Arts Festival will be all day Saturday at Pigeon Mountain Grill beginning at 10 a.m. through 9 p.m. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome.

As a tribute to his late father, Jay Burgess, Vic Burgess created the festival. Proceeds from donations will benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center.

Like Finster Fest, each May in Summerville, Georgia, The Jayhawk Music and Arts Festival is an eclectic mix of local musicians and artisans.

The festival spans three stages — a porch, a pavilion and an air-conditioned venue — with more than 20 performers.

Pigeon Mountain Grill is located at 18381 Highway 193 in Chickamauga, Georgia.
