Officials with River City Company have released the lineup for this year’s Noontunes concert series.
The midweek performances on Wednesdays at noon will move from Miller Plaza to the new Miller Park. Each performance will be free to the general public and live streamed via EPB. All performances will be recorded to air later on WUTC 88.1.
In addition to a live performance, each artist will discuss his or her background and song selection providing insight not normally gathered from a standard show.
“Over the last two seasons, Noontunes has grown both in attendance and in the impressive selection of local musicians, Meagan Shinn, program director at River City Company said. “We’re especially looking forward to the 2018 season with the move to Miller Park which will accommodate even more attendees and support growth for downtown businesses.”
TVFCU is the sponsor for Noontunes with partnerships from SoundCorps, Chattanooga Convention & Visitors Bureau, Jazzanooga, WUTC and River City Sessions.
Free concerts begin at noon on Sept. 19 and continue through Nov. 28 except the week of Thanksgiving.
